Hand painted Superfine (19 micron) Merino wool roving for spinning and felting in Three Waters Farm colorway Zinnias During Dusk. 4 ounces.

The first photo is two braids wound together; the next four photos are all of the same braid.

Merino occupies the most exalted place in the fiber world. A long stapled fiber with exuberant bounce and memory, it is perfect for spinning. The fineness of merino makes it perfect for felting. This merino is superfine and is perfect for next-to-the-skin garments.
