Welcome
Situated on a hill overlooking the Haw River, Cane Creek, and a hidden Pond, Three Waters Farm looks out over a mixed terrain of fields and woods in the piedmont of North Carolina. We moved here in 1989, with the intent to raise our family on a working homestead. Initially we sold a mix of organic vegetables, fruits, flowers, goat cheese and baked goods at the Carrboro Farmers' Market and to local restaurants.
During the last 18 years we have focused on making products from our sheep's wool and goat's milk producing a variety of handpainted yarns, and wool fibers, and Handmade Truesoap with goat's milk. Now, in our eighteenth year at the Carrboro Farmers' Market and our sixth year as a yarn/fiber/spinning shop inside Yarns Etc... We have added some national shows to our schedule, including Maryland Sheep and Wool, and our own NC State Fair.

Bamberino Arrives!
We have added a new, versatile yarn to our line-up. Bamberino is 60% Merino and 40% Bamboo. Soft and shiny, these mammoth 620 yard skeins are dyed in tonal colorways with subtle contrasts which knit up into quiet and rich color variation. Each skein is one-of-a-kind (and sometimes we have two!)Below is a swatch that Lynne knit to demonstrate the subtle variation of the tone-on-tone colorways. (This is a gold on gold with a touch of green.) They are quiet, but the color is muted–not muzzled!
