    Description
There is a wee bit of splotching in a couple of the color bands. Yarn is first quality.

Hand dyed fingering weight yarn in the Three Waters Farm colorway Innocent . This yarn will stripe when knitted: red, brown, orange and gold will stripe with a muted grey green. This skein is a generous 465 yards of 4-ply Superwash Merino/Nylon (75/25.)

**Please Note: Due to the length of this skein, it will not fit a standard swift: it will need to be wound by hand into a ball. How we wound it: we set two chairs approximately three meters apart and stretched the skein between them. We then cut the ties and wound the yarn into a ball. (This process is also known as the "the old-fashioned way!")

This yarn is truly a versatile workhorse. A marriage of next-to-skin softness and durability, it is suitable for socks, accessories, and garments. The first photo shows the yarn wound into skeins. The second and third photos shows the color progression in two different orientations The fourth and fifth photo show the front and back of the toe of a sock.

Situated on a hill overlooking the Haw River, Three Waters Farm looks out over a mixed terrain of fields, woods, and water in the piedmont of North Carolina. We moved here in 1989 with the intent to raise our family on a working homestead. Initially we produced a mix of organic vegetables, cut flowers, goat cheese, and baked goods at the Carrboro Farmers' Market.
Since 1997, we have focused on making products from our sheep's wool and our goat's milk. We produce a variety of hand-painted yarns, and spinning fibers, and from our goat's milk, we make Goat's Milk True-soap, using our own special recipe.
