| April Top of the Month Club 2017
One thing I love about winter is the way sunlight penetrates the woods, lighting up tree trunks and illuminating birds. Cardinals are abundant here and spotting the red of a sunlit cardinal against the browns and blacks of various tree trunks is a special treat.
This time of year, as buds appear and swell, the trees become haloed with clouds of diffuse color and the stark contrast of the sunlight on the trees begins to soften. The birds are now harder to see, but I still catch glimpses of bright cardinals, flitting in and out of the emerging tree canopies. Welcome to Flashing Cardinal, our April TOMC!
The wool/silk blend this month is Polwarth/TussahSilk, in a 60/40 combination. The extra silk in this luxe blend will give your yarn spectacular glow and shine.
Our wool this month is Blueface Leicester. BFL has compelling luster, easy spin-ability, and it will spin into a the broad range of different yarns.
This month we have two tonals, Teal Blue and Tree Bark.
