Learn to Spin Classes
In these 3 classes we will concentrate on basic spinning technique, beginning with the spindle and moving to the wheel.
When: Wednesdays, March 10 - 24, 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Cost: $50, plus $35 materials fee, including spindle and spinning fiber.

Using Handcards with Teresa Fischer
Learn the basics of using handcards for the carding of wool fleeces with Teresa Fischer. Class will cover basic carding motions, making rolags and worsted, and spinning from these preparations.
What To Bring: Wool handcards, Flicker, Hand towel, 1/2 yard of denim OR 1 cut-off denim pant leg and a Spinning wheel or Spindle
When: Sunday, March 7, from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm

Create a Fantasy Creature with Wendy Feldmann
Come learn basic Needle Felting technique in this 3-week course with Fiber Artist Wendy L. Feldmann of Waltzing Dog Studios.
Needle Felting skills covered will include basic needlefelting, creating and attaching appendages, how to blend color and fibers, and surface application of fibers.
