Superruffly Scarf Pattern
Another innovative knitting pattern from Lynne Vogel
Superruffly is a long, textured scarf knit in three panels. It is designed to be knit with a Three Waters Farm Superfluity Kit.
It's really fun to knit and would look good in all kinds of yarns, even solid colors. As a Bonus, this pattern includes instructions for Lynne's Criss-Cross Handwarmers.

Finished measurements:
Length: 78 inches
Overall width: 6 ¾ inches
Width of garter stitch panel: 2 inches
Width of Bell Ruffle: 2 ½ inches
Width of Boucle Ruffle: 2 ¾ inches
Yarns and Yardages: Example is knit with yarn from Three Waters Farm’s “Superfluity Kit” in “Couture” colorway. Every kit is unique. A few tips on color choices are included in the pattern, but these choices ultimately belong to the knitter. Enjoy!
Yarn A: Mohair boucle (bulky weight): one 65 yd skein
Yarn B: Wool Boucle (bulky weight): one 85 yd skein
Yarn C: Mohair Silk Boucle (worsted weight); one 200 yd skein
Yarn D1: Alpaca/wool blend (worsted weight); one 120 yd skein (deeper, brighter colors)
Yarn D2: Alpaca/wool blend (worsted weight); one 120 yd skein (lighter or more muted colors)
Needles:
One US 10 1/2 circular 36” or longer
Two US 9 circulars 36” or longer
Pair of straight needles or shorter circular in US 10 ½ for knitting garter stitch panel if desired
Tapestry needle for finishing.
Gauge:
Yarns A, B and C: 3 sts per inch, 3 ½ rows per inch
Yarn D: 4 sts per inch, 5 rows per inch
